Root for Nature
This project involved developing a multi-platform awareness campaign for the David Suzuki Foundation, centered on the concept Root for Nature. The campaign encourages individuals to adopt small, daily eco-friendly actions—such as recycling, spending time outdoors, or shopping second-hand—while fostering a stronger connection to local environments and community spaces. Designed with a focus on Ottawa, the concept highlights nearby parks and integrates location-based suggestions to make participation feel immediate and accessible. The visual system was carried across bus posters, a social media campaign, and a printed calendar, creating a cohesive experience across both physical and digital platforms. Bright, inviting visuals and clear messaging support engagement, while interactive and shareable content encourages ongoing participation. Targeting teens to young adults interested in sustainability, wellness, and outdoor activities, the campaign positions environmental action as approachable, social, and easily integrated into everyday routines.
